Every seasonal change I naturally have an urge to try new things or new styles for my wardrobe. This fall-to-winter transition is no different and has really got me thinking; more sporty, more edge, more Euro. The cooler months are amongst my favorite of the year since I love layering and outerwear. Every year I say I’m going to find and invest in the perfect suede jacket and seldom do I come across one that has the perfect fit, color, and style- until now. This Suede biker jacket is one of those pieces I never knew I needed so much until I got it. Do you guys have any pieces like that in your closet?

I have a new found love and their name is Brett Johnson. Well, black to be precise. I love pairing black leather with black suede and black accessories, it’s so addictive. Just to not look like a avid funeral-er, I added in other neutral, desaturated hues to the mix like gray, white, olive and navy’s. I usually gravitate towards brighter and more colorful pieces, but I can’t get enough of black lately.

For the featured pieces in this editorial, let’s start with the Brett Johnson, Suede biker jacket…again! I really went into depth about this suede jacket in my last editorial but had to feature again because frankly, it just has so much to offer. Aside from it making you warm, It feels really comfortable and built for the cold weather. Check out the jacket Here. Apart from the buttery soft biker jacket, this has perfectly quilted sleeves and gunmetal hardware- talk about details!Steven Onoja

I’m wearing two separate tones because I needed to add a little edgy to the look. The turtleneck is much more sporty, masculine and on-the-go where as the satchel is cleaner, more sophisticated and for students. Either way you can’t loose, they’re both my new favorite color.
