With good weather comes opportunities to layer comfortably and with versatility. I found myself looking for the best alternative to a great spring style, preferably for the chilly months.
This outfit was reflected in the Catens’ hyper-tailored coats and jackets in classic vest, brown leather jacket, and Blue Denim jeans. The key jacket was the Knitted vest immaculately constructed but unlined, the quintessence of sartorial ease. I think it’s important to understand the various levels of thrifting concerning the differences in consignment shops, vintage stores and charity shops all varying in desired results. Simply saying it can be difficult and time consuming to find certain items in the depths of a Salvation Army in comparison to a shop curated more around your liking.
Details – One of the details I really like about the styling is the color, while you still get the construction of a boot, the light weight and hue gives it a different feel stylistically.
A beautiful day in the city, conversation and some great eats at the end of the all ends up to be a perfect day in brooklyn.
This look was inspired by one of my favorite collections, Dsquared2 Fall 2013, the outfit speaks only in the way that everything old is new again.
People : Featuring my good friend/colleague and fellow Menswear blogger Denny Balmaceda joining in on this one. You may have seen him around the ‘interwebs’ collaborating with many of my favorite brands. You can look out for Denny Balmaceda for his personal work and as we prepare to work on future projects together.
